About Ludium
Ludium (ludium.ai) is a free educational website and an independent project based in South Australia. Each course pairs short animated video lectures with companion pages, problem sets and coding exercises, and optional AI feedback on your work.
Where the courses come from
Every course is adapted from openly licensed material: university courseware such as MIT OpenCourseWare, and open textbooks. Each course page credits its source and states its licence, and the videos carry the same credit in their descriptions. The adaptations are ours: rewritten, narrated and animated, with every worked calculation checked.
How the videos are made
The videos are produced by an AI pipeline driven from Claude Code, Anthropic's coding agent: it cleans and segments the source, writes and reviews each script, and authors every frame. Calculations are verified with SymPy before anything is animated. The pipeline is open source: github.com/Augustinus12835/ludium_video.
The videos are published on YouTube at @LudiumAI.
Credits
- Animations made with Manim, the Manim Community's mathematical animation engine.
- Narration: Built with Fish Audio. Math and technical videos voiced from October 2026 use Fish Audio's open-weights Drama 3 model.
- Course material from the sources credited on each course page, under their own licences.
